Aamir Khan's son Junaid to star in new film set in Japan

Junaid Khan, who is following in the footsteps of his superstar father Aamir Khan, has begun his foray into the film industry with two successful movies under his belt: Maharaja, produced by Yash Raj Films, and Pritam Pyare, his home production. Now, it seems that a third movie is on the horizon. Aamir's production house has developed a slice-of-life film that will star Junaid, with a significant portion of the story set in Japan.

Aamir has given the green light for the production, and the team is working hard to bring the movie to life. They are currently searching for a suitable director while also in talks with the Japanese government regarding shoot subsidies. A source says, "Aamir has a specific vision for this heart-warming film and believes that Japan is the ideal setting for it. The majority of the movie, around 70%, will be shot across the country.

Aware that filming in a foreign country can be costly, Aamir's production team has requested subsidies from the Japanese government to help offset some of the expenses. This will allow them to make the movie without worrying about the budget and scale."

If they receive a positive response from the government, a team will head to Japan next month for a recce, paving the way for a two-month shoot from September. The leading lady will be finalized in the coming weeks. Junaid has made a promising start in his career, and with his father's support and guidance, he is sure to reach great heights.
